The CIOB Scotland Annual Award Ceremony took place on Friday 4 March 2011 in Glasgow City Chambers. CIOB Scotland is most grateful to Glasgow City Council for their support which enabled the ceremony to take place in such a prestigious venue. Ken Morrison, CIOB Scotland Chair, was delighted to welcome James Wates FCIOB, President of CIOB to deliver the keynote speech to our new Members, guests, family and friends. James also presented commemorative scrolls to those new to membership and those celebrating their achievement of FCIOB and MCIOB. Also recognised were recipients of CIOB Student Awards and finalists from CMYA. A note of apology is issued on behalf of the Branch to Mr Paul Neil who was being recognised for gaining Fellowship however this was not accurately represented on the day in the programme.
